The biggest news for the JMU football team on national signing day was losing Monticello quarterback Jhalil Mosley to William & Mary.

Mosley was the only QB Madison recruited, and his loss will force the Dukes to go shopping for a transfer to bolster their depth at quarterback. Right now, as there was last offseason, JMU has no proven No. 2 quarterback behind starter Michael Birdsong, who isn't really proven at starter.
