Charlottesville's Davis Commits To Madison

The James Madison football team got another wide receiver.

A JMU source said Thursday that Charlottesville High School's Rashard Davis verbally committed to Madison, becoming the 13th recruit for the class of 2013.

The 5-foot-7, 160-pound Davis played quarterback this season for CHS but will play wide receiver - where he played his junior year of high school - for the Dukes, who now have five wide receivers committed: Davis, North Stafford's Brandon Ravenel (a three-star recruit), Seneca Valley's Jordan Brown, Morgantown's Blaine Stewart and Loudoun County's Brad Szoka.
