Senior's 3-Pointer Gives JMU 68-65 Win Over Northeastern

DukesofJMU.com James Madison women's basketball coach Kenny Brooks said Tarik Hislop has to be clutch.
"She has no choice," Brooks said of his senior point guard. "She's the only player on our team that can create her own shot."
Even when there isn't one.
With 2.9 seconds to play, a double-covered Hislop, just feet from the JMU bench, drilled a deep, fadeaway 3-pointer to give the Dukes a dramatic 68-65 win over Northeastern in front of 2,010 fans at the Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon.
"That wasn't really open," Hislop said with a laugh. "But time was running out, so I just had to shoot it."
