When JMU fired offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jeff Durden and offensive line coach/run-game coordinator Chris Malone, several players went to Twitter to vent their displeasure. Some were more extreme than others.

Originally, I wrote something about it Saturday but decided the sample size was too small. I've spent a lot of time this week on the phone to find out if this weekend's tweet outrage was a vocal minority or something more.

It seems it's more. These were not popular moves. It's early, but, at least for now, this looks like a messy situation.
